love a wedding...

i love weddings. i love the flowers, the dresses, the commotion, the gathering of family and friends. what's not to love about a wedding? this past weekend i was lucky enough to attend a wedding of a once lost, now found friend. i met jessica when she was just 12. i was a missionary in ashland, ohio and had the opportunity of teaching her the discussions. she was baptized and shortly after i returned home to utah. i lost track of her over the years and always wondered what happened to her, where she ended up, etc. a few months ago i heard from a friend that jessica was living in utah and was getting married in the logan temple. i was thrilled! i caught up with her through email and was able to attend her wedding. it was beautiful. she was beautiful. it was wonderful to see her so happy. here are a few photos of the day...i do love weddings!

It is amazing what a little service so long ago can do. It really does make a difference in so many lives. Next time you are up this way you should drop in for dinner.

What a wonderful continuation to a story. I was going to say end, but it isn't really an end. And your picture makes me want to get my hair cut...if I could just find somebody that I love that isn't in Utah!
